An exquisite French Perpetual Calendar 4 glass table clock. The case base and top of black Granite, surmounted by an Armillary Sphere, with a solid ball of Lapis Lazuli representing the earth. The two train month going custom made movement striking the half and hours on a bell. An Ellicott type temperature compensated pendulum. The clock also drives a Perpetual Calendar movement with equation of time indication. Engraved on the back plate:

Chas. Frodsham. Clockmaker to the Queen Paris. 17196 and engraved on the Perpetual Calendar back plate: 17497 Each of the movements is separately mounted to the ornately engraved face plate. The two piece recessed white porcelain dial, with Brocot style jewelled escapement, blued steel Breguet style hands. Signed in this dial: Chas. Frodsham. Clockmaker to the Queen The two piece recessed Perpetual Calendar dial with moonphase, and auxiliary dials for day and date. The month and equation of time are indicated by a central hand displaying a delicate sunburst.

A French brass 4 glass striking mantle clock, bevelled glass to a "Corniche" type case, the eight day plus movement striking the half and the hour on a bell, the two piece white porcelain dial with jewelled visible Brocot escapement in the recessed center, blued Breguet hands, having a mercury pendulum.

A FRENCH ORMOLU AND MARBLE MANTLE CLOCK

With a white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals , pierced gilt hands, 8 day duration spring movement with platform lever escapement. Outside countwheel striking the half hours and hours on a bell. Stamped on the back plate: Medaille D Argent, Vincenti & Cie, 1855.

The fire gilt bronze case depicting a maiden sleeping on a four pillared day bed with a finely wrought eagle in flight removing the drapes covering the maiden. Signed on the rear: Terville Luan. Standing on a white marble base with scalloped corners.
